Index
The Index module in EgistixTM Oil module is designed to capture the complex pricing definitions. This level of complexity is common in the energy industry.
An Index is a value/price that is derived from a combination of other underlying Index values. These act as the basis of Index Prices that are used by transactions. The index components are combinations of underlying index data, averaging rules and price operators. Price operators can be defined using the normal mathematical operators such as add, subtract, multiple by a constant, etc.
Scheduling
Scheduling in EgistixTM Oil produces a seamless flow of information about your product from initial forecasts to final actuals for each facilty as it help manage the movement of product through various pipelines and other facilities
EgistixTM Oil forecasts using prior three month actuals, automatically recalculates notices of shipment (NOS) and Shippers Balance's, summarizes facilities by opening, closing and over/short , and generates Form A, NOS, Monthly Position and Shipper Balance statements.
Actuals
The EgistixTM Actuals module contains functions used to document volumes, quality, and tariffs recorded by a facility operator. Shipper Balance actuals are entered using the NOS volumes as a reference. Volume allocation are manually or automatically calculated depending upon your preference.
Feature highlights include Shipper Balance, Equalization, WADF, Tariffs, Actual Tariffs, WellHead Sales Splits, & New Month Roll-over processes.
Batching
EgistixTM Oil contains two types of batching with a focus on either pushing product to market or feeding product to facilities requiring committed supply.
Contract-Driven Market Demand Batching ties contracts to batch with a focus on getting batch to desired markets in order to maximize potential gains while Refinery Demand Batching focuses on providing feedstock to refineries to insure supply commitment.
Batching contain features such as Routing, Route Ordering, Schedule Editing/Viewing, Schedule Volumes, Unsold Batch Contracts, Inventory Position, Plant Allocation, Refinery Runs, Transit Times, and Supply Position.
Reporting
EgistixTM Oil has over 50 predefined reports and system views designed to place the right information at your fingertips. Contract analysis, Invoice analysis, and Monthly position are some of the reports available in the system. Each report can be exported in Microsoft Excel format, adobe pdf format, and XML for interfacing to other systems. Report packaging, preview, print, email and fax capabilities means there is something available for everyone.
Adminstration
The EgistixTM Adminstration module provides a comprehensive list of functions to enter administration data including Companies, People, Facilities, Manage Lists, Pooling, Shipper List, Credit Limits and Actual Taxes.
Contracts
EgistixTM Oil Contracts brings efficiency in the entire deal capture process to help to minimize errors and provide a comprehensive view of all your transactions.
Whether the full range of purchase and sales deal/contract/schedule capture options is required or features like complex formula based pricing, related contracts, terms & clauses, standardized pricing methods, schedules, negotiations, and pool splits, EgistixTM Oil makes the task easier.
Interfaces & Integration
EgistixTM Oil provides the means to interface to other systems through the use of EgistixTM Open.

Accounting
The EgistixTM Accounting module generates actuals and accruals COS values (known as cost of sales or cost of goods sold) for batteries, terminals, feeder pipelines, trunk pipelines and refineries. COS is calculated by prorating inventory and transactions on that facility using FIFO, LIFO and Weighted Average accounting methodologies.
Auditing & Security
Controlling access to information and monitoring the use of information is vital to insuring appropriate business processes.
EgistixTM Oil's security control provides fine detail over every function of EgistixTM by allowing for group and user permisisons on each system function. EgistixTM Oil's audit-tracking capabilities assist with monitoring corporate compliancy requirements (eg. SOX) including search capabilities and configurable audit levels (summary vs. transactional details).
